NELSON ARTIST I have the delight of being a full time artist and I work most days in my studio in Richmond, Nelson, New Zealand. Painting from imagination and observation. To paint for me is to play, I work in acrylics because I love the intensity of their colour. I hope you enjoy my varied subject choices. I love to imagine the places I wish to travel to. I enjoy painting musicians, I love faces and the stories they tell. Art to me is about emotion, creating a feeling, not a record. I believe in the human need to dream and this is reflected in my art.
